Sainte Foy Tarentaise nestles high up on a sunny shelf above the Isere valley, mid-way between Bourg Saint Maurice and Val d’Isere in the Savoie region of the French Alps.
Sainte Foy has wonderful skiing, both high altitude and ‘through the trees’, suited to all levels of skier. And you can drive in less than 30 minutes to the neighbouring world famous resorts of Val d’Isere/Tignes, Les Arcs/La Plagne, also the small resort of La Rosiere with its skiing into Italy.
Sainte Foy remains a ’hidden gem’, savoured by discerning skiers for its superb variety of on and off-piste skiing, excellent snow and its quiet and queue-free pistes. Sainte Foy retains the ambience of a small French resort, but has also been carefully developed in recent years, with a new 6-man express lift and intermediate runs opened in 2007, and a range of attractive shops, bars and quality restaurants.
